It’s finally here! A brand new website. I have been working on this for a very long time, though never exactly announced that it was coming. Surprise! Please have a look around, see what’s new. (Everything!) Despite being a one woman show, it took a village to put this together. The village is quite an awesome one:
The website was designed and built by Stacey and Dalton of Raygun. They have been so pleasant to work with! I have never been one to quite understand all the technicalities of how to build a website. They took my vision and made it happen and taught me (as much as I could absorb anyway) along the way.
I had a great team put together my lookbook. The photography was done by Mathew Scott. We chose the Hayes Valley neighborhood as our backdrop. A big thank you to Two Sisters Bars and Books and Makeshift Society for use of their beautiful spaces. Heather Sansky was the stylist while Tricia Turner did her magic with hair and makeup. The scarves were modeled by the lovely Justine Ramirez. I couldn’t have done any of this without the guidance from Carrie Levy and Kristen Fortier. It was such a blessing to have them as part of this project!
The shop will open on Tuesday. I will be posting some information then, as I am trying something new this time around. Until then, welcome to the new home of Pirtti Handwoven!
